Il CEDAD svolge attività conto terzi per la datazione con il radiocarbonio mediante AMS su una vasta tipologia di campioni organici (ossa, carbone, legno, tessuti, sedimenti) e carbonatici (conchiglie, speleotemi). E' possibile effettuare analisi del contenuto di radiocarbonio nel carbonic inorganico in acqua e in emissioni industriali.
